First Phase of ‘Catchlight Crossings’ Advances Toward 2027 Completion at 100 Starbeam Street, Orlando, Florida

Florida YIMBY reports on the ongoing development of Catchlight Crossings, a large-scale mixed-use project aimed at providing housing for theme park workers, particularly those associated with Universal Epic Universe. This initiative is part of the broader “Housing for Tomorrow” program.

Commenced in November 2023, the development will unfold in two phases, ultimately offering over 1,000 units of workforce and affordable housing. The residences are designed with modern amenities, including hard surface countertops, walk-in closets, and stainless-steel appliances from Kohler. In addition, the project will feature extensive public and residential facilities spanning over 72,000 square feet, on-site medical care, ample parking with 1,664 spots, and 16,000 square feet of retail area. Covering 20 acres, this venture will also include four acres dedicated to green space. The development is led by Wendover Housing Partners, with architectural design by Beyer Blinder Belle Architects & Partners.
