Three kids, two adults injured after car crashed into Orange County daycare

On Thursday afternoon, a vehicle collided with an Orange County daycare, resulting in injuries to three children and two adults, as confirmed by officials. The incident occurred at Tattle Tales Learning Center, situated at 1211 N. Pine Hills Road, shortly before 3 p.m.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a 73-year-old man drove a 2003 Honda CRV off the road and into the daycare facility, fully embedding the vehicle within the building. Both the driver and one adult at the daycare were transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center, while the three children affected were taken to Orlando Health Children’s Arnold Palmer Hospital. Fortunately, the injuries sustained by the children were reported as non-life-threatening. Following the accident, a building inspector from Orange County determined that the facility could not be occupied until necessary repairs and permits are addressed.
