Orlando’s Thriller Dance Charity Event Aims to Support Anti-Abortion Center

Thrill the World Orlando is set to host a fundraising dance event themed around Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” to support The Pregnancy Center of Winter Park, an anti-abortion organization focused on dissuading women from choosing abortion. This charity event will take place on Saturday, October 24, at Genesis Health Clubs in Maitland. The worldwide event aims to unite participants in dancing to the iconic song simultaneously with groups across the globe.

Co-organizer Scott Fijolek emphasized the event’s spirit of community giving, stating in a promotional video that it seeks to continue Michael Jackson’s legacy of generosity. The Pregnancy Center is one of over 150 crisis pregnancy centers in Florida, running under the premise of providing alternatives to abortion, despite reports indicating that many of these centers lack medical licenses and adherence to privacy laws.
