New Build-A-Bear Flagship Store Coming to ICON Park in Orlando

ICON Park in Orlando is set to welcome an innovative Build-A-Bear Workshop, which is expected to open in November 2026. This new three-story flagship location, backed by St. Louis-based Build-A-Bear Workshop, represents an $11 million investment and will feature amenities beyond traditional toy-building, including a dessert shop and a clothing personalization station.

The store design includes a unique design studio, where guests will work with consultants to customize their toys, choosing features such as eye color and coat texture. Appointments will be necessary to enhance the customer experience compared to typical mall locations. Construction began in July 2025, following the initial announcement of plans in March of that year. This venue will take over from the previous Build-A-Bear location that was established at ICON Park in 2021.
