Hayashi Tarō is set to launch in Mills 50, taking over the space previously occupied by Royaltea. The restaurant will provide sushi lovers with a unique dining option featuring a curated selection of seafood in decorative wooden boxes called oribako, which are specifically designed for takeout.
Chef David Tsan, who has experience at renowned establishments like Norigami and Kappo Tsan, will lead the kitchen. He aims to create a more casual dining experience that still maintains high-quality ingredients. The menu will include items like nigiri, donburi, and kaiseki boxes made with seafood sourced from Tokyo’s Toyosu Market and local seasonal vegetables. Seating will also be available for those who wish to enjoy a more traditional dining experience. The opening is marked for after October 25.
